CBSE REGIONAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION (2017-18)

The three day CBSE  Regional Science Exhibition on “Innovation for Sustainable development” hosted by S. V. Public  School Adarsh Nagar came to a productive closing on Wednesday 10th January 2018. The valedictory function for the closing ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Inderjeet Singh, Regional officer CBSE Ajmer, JSSC President Hon’ble members of management, eminent school Principals, dignitaries, teachers and participating teams. A vibrant cultural program was presented by the students. Krishna Raas was depicted through Kathak. The Chief Guest and other esteemed guests were presented shawl, memento and green gold by the host school. Various models on sub themes like health and well being, Resource management and food security, waste management and water conversation, transport and communication, digital and technological solution and mathematical modeling were presented like tech bin, DC operated Mop, Tertiary Memory a Miracle, hydro Electricity through Waste Water, Neer Jyoti Chattar, Smart Transportation, Magic of Parallelogram, Eco AC etc. were indeed an eye opener with an endeavor to promote scientific attitude among young scholars. The exhibition provided a common platform to teachers and students to give shape to their novel ideas and innovation. Creativity was at its best when students presented few models for children with special needs like Motorized Wheel Chair, Bat Eye for Blind, and Smart Stick were economical and easy to use.

Highlighting the objective of CBSE in organizing the Science Exhibition Mr. Inderjeet Singh said that such exhibitions are a platform for creative learning and bringing out innovative ideas. He announced the names of the short listed schools that would be competing at the National Level. The school Principal Rita P Taneja congratulated the proud achievers and applauded the staff, the prefectorial council for their support and commendable efforts. The event culminated with a vote of thanks to one and all.
