Knowledge –the most powerful tool in the life of man is something that increases by sharing and not by saving.

Students of Ryan International School, Padmawati, Jaipur got the gratifying experience of being a host to a delegation of 20 German students ,under the Cultural Exchange Programme.

The day commenced with a formal Rajasthani welcome to the delegates, followed by special assembly concocted specially to entertain the guests.

Later during the day the delegates had an interactive session with the School Cabinet and the MUN Team, where they exchanged useful information about the cultures, traditions and socio-political issues pertaining their country in an entertaining way.

The Delegates were also taken on a cultural canopy where they were introduced to the Rajasthani culture through the medium of Rangoli designing, Mehandi designing,Rajasthani folk dance, Rajasthani Cuisine, Tie and Die, Block Painting etc. Students not just gained knowledge but also tried their hands at Rangoli designing and Mehandi Designing.

Along with this the agility of students were exhibited through various sporting events like: Carom, Table Tennis, Pyramid formation.

The finale of the day was the presentations by the German Delegates through their cultural dance performance, acrobatics.

Head Mistress Ms. Sarita Katiyar extended a warm welcome to the delegates and wished that such programmes should be held frequently so as to expand the horizon of knowledge of students as well as work towards the holistic development of the students.
