Credent TV | Just two days before the presidential election, NDA nominee Droupadi Murmu received a big morale boost on Saturday when Prakash Ambedkar, grandson of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, expressed his support for her and urged opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha to quit his candidacy.
The Aam Aadmi Party backed Yashwant Sinha, saying, “We properly fully respect NDA nominee, but PAC has considered it suitable to support the opposition candidate.” The Bharatiya janata party had posted more than 50,000 posters across West Bengal’s tribal-dominated areas, branding the Trinamool Congress “anti-tribal” for supporting Sinha.
