We live in the era of the internet where you can’t manipulate anyone with lies. Social Media platforms trace the false news in a minute. Only transparent journalism is valued today.
Let’s hear from him today.

What Role did Mass Communication has played in the changing of the world?

Prof. Dwivedi said India has been constantly evolving since 1951. The increasing involvement of technology and gadgets in our lives like mobile phones, and computer have changed the scenario. This is called “Global Village.” Villages have better connectivity between people hence the term. The whole world has become a village because even after being so far in distance we can talk or see them within a second.

It has wide advantages depending on the usage you put it to. The technology worked as a blessing during the pandemic. Work, education, necessities, entertainment, etc. everything was done through the internet.

What is the future of Journalism ?

When Dr Pranu Shukls asked him “What is the future of the Journalism”, He said, Journalism has a very bright future, We live in a world of communication. Human beings can’t live without communicating, as we are a part of society. Yes, means of communication will continue to evolve. The place of paper, radio, and television has been taken by apps, e-paper, and social media. Media houses have additional responsibility today of keeping their apps, e-paper, etc. active. Earlier a single newspaper was delivered for the next 24 hours. But today they have to update the news the moment it happens.

They work 24 hours and be connected 24*7. It’s just that media is changing its forms but the consumption of news is increasing whether it’s the entertainment world or the news world.
