The III International Youth Camp being held in Russia had 10 representatives from India
Harshita Sharma a citizen from Jaipur represented India at III International BRICS Youth Camp organized by BRICS project office Russia under aegis of Federal Youth Agency Russia. Camp took place from 1st-6th August, and served as a platform for discussing and implementing ideas relevant for young leaders from five countries. Theme of the camp was ‘media’.
Camp included educational meetups, creative workshops, blog tour of the city of Ulyanovsk, stay at beautiful ‘eco hotel’ and ‘Radisson’

Harshita who is an alumnae of MGD Girls’ school Jaipur and IIS University, Jaipur says –‘it was one in a lifetime opportunity, as it opened doors for international collaborations, expert lectures, panel sessions and group discussions on various topics important for BRICS cooperation. She further stated that ‘being internationalist, it was a very important opportunity to explore and represent nation at the world stage’. She would continue to engage in international diplomacy and would contribute towards a pacific world. She stated-‘ this camp made it possible to obtain large amount of information about the development of BRICS and how to strengthen BRICS cooperation. Such events are important for like minded people all across the globe to interact and make this world a better place.’ She believes that ‘ power of youth is the common wealth of entire world.’
