Meet the “BTech paani puri wali” of Delhi –

A 21-year-old Delhi resident who holds a BTech degree has chosen an unexpected professional route, selling paani puri on the street, following in the footsteps of people like the “MBA Chaiwala”.

In a recent internet video posted by food blogger “Are you hungry,” Tapsi Upadhyay made an appearance. On Instagram, it has received more than 3.4 lakh likes. Upadhyay also maintains a “Btech Paani Puri Wali” social media page with more than 7,000 followers.

In the video, Upadhyay can be seen operating her paani puri cart while it is attached to a motorcycle on a busy street in West Delhi.

As soon as she arrived at her location, she started getting ready for the day by cleaning her stall, adding a large quantity of gol gappas to a built-in shelf, and stirring the savory filling.

Upadhyay attempts to develop paani puris that are healthier by air frying them instead of using maida (refined white flour). She uses leaf-made dishes made of dried leaves to serve the snack.

Upadhyay commented on the numerous questions that were asked of her, yet she did not go into detail about why she made this career choice.

In the Instagram video, she remarked, “People ask me why you’re doing this after getting a BTech degree. Some claim that I should be doing household tasks at home and that this is not a woman’s job.

Upadhyay isn’t deterred by her youthful age or those remarks.

She remarked, “Age is simply a number. “I never paid them (her detractors) any regard.”

Many people praised the young woman on social media.
