Smith Said – I like captaincy in India the most, will win the next match too

In the Thursday Test at Indore, Australia defeated India by a margin of nine wickets. Australia successfully overcame a 76-run mark set by India despite taking one wicket in the process. In Pat Cummins’ absence, Stephen Smith served as team captain. For the second time since 2004, Australia won the Test match in India. Steve Smith commented, “I appreciate captaining in India because I understand the conditions here,” following the victory. Every time a ball was kicked throughout the game, the excitement level rose. With my efforts this week, I’m pleased. I’m overjoyed to have made the WTC finals. I’m hopeful the team will win the last game to tie the series at two games each.

Smith claimed that even if we didn’t win the toss on the opening day, our bowlers did an outstanding job and applied pressure to India. On day one, Kuhneman bowled well. He shocked everybody.
