IIMUN gives young turks lessons on diplomacy at Step By Step International School

jaipur I The crises in Mali  are manifold… , the Private Military is advantageous for our country…, our country strongly condemns the ideology propagated by   ISIS……… and,  the country’s Delegate (myself) would like to …., such were the proclamations that filled the air in the two days IIMUN Conference held on 20-21 December 2014. Top-notch diplomacy, matchless etiquette and rehearsed statements on display, one could easily get a feel of attending a real UN summit but hark! These were children that too school students. The precision with which they put forth their country’s stand and position on any pertinent issue told about their extensive research and in-depth know how.

Young scholars from various eminent schools gathered to participate in the 2 days Model United Nations Conference held under the  umbrella of IIMUN, a Mumbai based student organization, acclaimed for its expertise in the genre’,   and hosted by Step by Step International School.  Sarthak Pandya, a class IX student at St. Xavier’s and taking part as a member of the UN Security Council exclaimed,”  It is a great experience, we are brooding over the stalking world issues and the recommendations generated in this meeting would be forwarded  to the UNSC Headquarters, New York.’
