Users of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold will need to download and install the new Crypto.com app update.

Samsung and Crypto.com have teamed up to make asset trading easy for users of its premium Galaxy Z Fold lineup. The cryptocurrency exchange is releasing an update for its app that will include materials and investment tools from Crypto.com for Galaxy Z Fold users who are interested in trying out cryptocurrency trading. With this action, Samsung has demonstrated its support for cryptocurrency as an established tech giant. The development may lead to investments in the digital assets market, which is currently valued at $1.21 trillion (roughly Rs. 99,00,546 crore).

Users of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold will be able to browse through the prices of crypto tokens on the Galaxy Fold’s unfolded large screen after installing the most recent Crypto.com app update. This will allow people to compare the prices of these digital assets and make an instant investment decision more quickly and clearly.

In an official statement, Eric Anziani, President and Chief Operating Officer of Crypto.com, said that “Samsung and Crypto.com have optimised the Crypto.com App for the large screen experience, taking advantage of the foldable form factor, to bring a more productive way of using the app for the trading and analysis of cryptocurrencies.”

Crypto.com, which was founded in 2016, claims to have over 80 million customers worldwide. According to a CounterPoint report, Samsung accounted for 62 percent of the foldable market in the first half of 2022. According to the report, total foldable sales in 2021 are expected to be nine million.

Both Samsung and Crypto.Com have the potential to attract millions of people to the crypto sector. However, this is not the first time that Samsung has validated the digital assets sector, despite the volatility that has kept the market reputation clouded by financial risks.

In order to establish its presence in the metaverse and raise the visibility of its brand in the fully functional virtual universe, Samsung’s Latin American division entered Decentraland in October 2022.

The business first opened its own store in Decentraland in January 2022. In July of the previous year, it introduced another metaverse project called Space Tycoon as a component of the Roblox platform.

The South Korean conglomerate Samsung Asset Management’s investment division also listed its Bitcoin Futures Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
