PM Modi launched 91 FM radio stations: I reached 2 crore people in 18 states and stated that I am both a listener and a host.

In order to improve radio connectivity throughout the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, or on Friday, inaugurated 91 FM radio stations with 100 watts of power. Through video conferencing, these FM radio stations were launched in 84 districts across 18 states and two union territories.

Nyoma now has the tallest transmitter in the world.

A record was set for installing the highest transmitter in the world in the Nyoma village of Ladakh, according to Union Minister Anurag Thakur, who was in attendance in Leh. The benefit of radio will be available from Nyoma’s elevation of 4100 metres for many kilometres. Along with Nyoma, Ladakh’s Khaltse and Diskit now have radio stations as well.

91 FM radio stations have reportedly started broadcasting in the following states: Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Ladakh. In these states, 84 districts in total have been covered.
