In view of the increasing cases of corona in Delhi, 461 new cases registered. This is the highest number of cases in the last 48 days. Earlier on February 27, 484 cases registered. The positivity rate in the capital has increased to 5.33%. Two patients died of corona in the last 24 hours.

Restrictions may be imposed if the cases of corona increase

According to sources, if the positivity rate remains more than 5% in the coming few days, then the Delhi government can impose restrictions. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) is scheduled to hold a meeting on Wednesday to review the COVID-19 situation in the city. It is expected that in this important decisions can be taken to control the situation of Corona.

Corona’s fourth wave may come

According to sources, the way the cases of covid are increasing, it is a sign of the arrival of the fourth wave of corona. In the midst of all this, doctors say that it is possible that the fourth wave of covid will come but it will be weaker than the previous waves. Therefore, according to Dr NK Mehra, former Dean of AIIMS, instead of being afraid of it, people should take measures themselves to prevent this like wearing masks in public places, washing hands, taking care of cleanliness etc.

Corona cases have been increasing in Delhi since the beginning of April, but only a few of them required hospitalization. According to government data, there are a total of 9,735 beds for Kovid-19 in Delhi. Of them, currently only 59 (0.61%) admitted. This includes 29 positive cases and 30 suspected cases.

Corona positive case rate increased to above 5% in last 1 week

Delhi recorded 366 Covid cases on Thursday, while the positivity rate stood at 3.95%. At the same time, 325 covid cases registered on Friday, while the positivity rate was 2.39%. In the last one week, the positivity rate has increased to above 5 percent.
