Annual Art Exhibition in JKK by St Edmund’s School

Experimentation with shape, color and texture to develop the unique qualities is the main aim of St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur. Keeping in this mind two days 4th Annual Art Exhibition (Euphoria-2016) was exhibited in Jawahar Kala Kendra (Parijat Art Gallery-1). The exhibition was inaugurated by R.B. Gautam, Eminent Artists and President of Progressive Art Group of Rajasthan and Guest of Honour Mr. Hansraj, Mr. N.L. Naga and Mr. Lakhan Singh Jat eminent sculptures.

Different form of paintings were showcased in which Rajasthan Vision, Nature, Mythology, Madhubani and Folk Art were center of attraction. The budding artist of VI to X Std. were highly appreciated by the Chief Guest and he shared his experience with the students and said that the topic in its self is a pretty major issue,  it’s not something which the artist tries to explain on uncover through form of art.

“I was astonished by the youngsters’ caliber and I must say that they should be encouraged to enhance their talent. There should be more exhibitions of young children so that they are encouraged to paint more,” said delegates from St. Louis School, France and highly appreciated the Edmundites.

Dr. Pooja Singh, Principal said that we received overwhelming response from the visitors and credit goes to our students.Mr. Kapil Singh Dy. Director further added that we are allowing our students the choose their own space to make the theme based paintings.
