BSDU Jaipur hosts Career Counselling Session to Help Aspiring College Students

Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU) organized a career counseling session for students and their parents to make them aware of the prospects for higher education and future after school in which more than 200 students and their parents participated online and offline mode. This meet aimed to inform the students about goal setting in life, then higher studies accordingly and the employment-related to it. The session was conducted by the renowned communication coach and motivational speaker Uday Singh and Dr. Chandrashekhar Shrimali, National Career Counselor.

To start with Dr. Shrimali called upon all the students to have patience and positive thinking to ensure career success. He said a career is never been a big thing, it is the right choices that make it big. Every student has some or the other skill set, and we should identify it as soon as possible and choose our career based on that skill.

Dr. Shrimali said that instead of hurrying in choosing a career, one should take a decision by giving some time so that their skills can get the right path. Describing the need for vocational education in place of traditional courses, he said that practical education is employment in itself, due to which the development of India’s economy is also possible and in this, it proves helpful in solving the problem of unemployment.

The second speaker of the program was Communication Coach Mr. Uday Singh, who emphasized on making your own decisions through a presentation titled Design Your Destiny. Explaining the process of potential action and result through many examples and videos, he said that the result is up to you, think about yourself, identify your talent, and identify your interest so that after making your career selection, someone Don’t be sorry.

Both the speakers answered the queries of the students who appeared online as well as offline and satisfied their curiosity so that everyone took advantage of those questions.

Dr. Rajdeep Deb, the coordinator of the program said that such career counseling sessions organized at Bhartiya Skill Development University are helping aspiring college student to identify their skills and competencies and map them with their future career choices. He further added in addition to attending the career counseling session participating students and parents are attending various skill workshops, try a skill session, and visiting the various skill training facilities available at BSDU Jaipur.  On this occasion, Dr. Achintya Choudhary, President, Bhartiya Skill Development University, while thanking the organizers for such a program, encouraged students and parents to spread this message to the community so that maximum people can take benefit from these sessions. All the faculty, staff, and students were also present on this occasion.
