Winning a commendable position in the entrepreneurial world – Sunny Vinayak Nimhan.

From being the first elected youth president to being an elected corporator for Pune Municipal Corporation to a successful entrepreneur, he has come a long way.

We have come across many names who have done exceptionally well in their line of work, yet some have done exceedingly well in their professional careers conquering not just one, but distinctive fields, and that too achieving major success in each. Sunny Vinayak Nimhan’s name lists amongst such few successes who have shaped up their careers in different molds.

He has been a part of Indian politics as the first elected youth president, followed by holding the position of a corporation in Pune Municipal Corporation, while simultaneously managing his multiple businesses with much success.

This entrepreneurial powerhouse stepped into politics at a young age and went on to become one of the youngest corporators through his hard work and passion to serve his constituency. Recalling his early days, he says, “I always wanted to be a part of the business world but completing education came first which landed me in Pune University to complete my B.E in civil engineering.

Thereafter, to hone my skills I took off to Melbourne, Australia to do my MS in property and construction management. Coming from a political family, I was drawn towards this space, but simultaneously built my entrepreneurial empire side by side to accomplish what I had always desired.”

He did his best in both worlds, accomplishing numerous milestones along the way. During his tenure at the municipal corporation, he cycled all the way from Delhi to Pune, a total distance of 1,540 km to spread health and environmental awareness. For his stupendous work as a corporation, he was awarded efficient corporator by Maharashtra Rajya Patrakar Parishad Sangha in 2016. Speaking about his entrepreneurial journey, he established Sunny World, an internationally acclaimed destination that houses the biggest adventure park and recreational facilities which are at par with the world’s standards.

He also co-owns the popular food chain Thikana, which has three branches in Pune’s Hinjewadi, FC Road, and Baner. Apart from owning these successful ventures, he is also the director of Gold’s Gym located at Law College road in the city.
