DAV’S ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS PROGRAMME
JAIPUR :- In wake of CBSE’s proposal to undertake a sensitisation campaign for schools and students on the environmental concerns as a part of commemoration of the 3rd anniversary of NEP 2020, DAV Jaipur has integrated environmental awareness and sensitivity towards its conservation and sustainable development in its annual programme.
Activities such as screening of documentaries on climate change and massive tree plantation under ‘CBSE- ONE CHILD, ONE PLANT campaign’ were organised to generate awareness among the students. Special assemblies on themes such as water and energy conservation, prevention of wastage of resources, pollution control were also organized. On one such morning, a dance drama was presented by the students of class VIII. The musical not only unveiled the various causes of environmental imbalance but also suggested ways to reduce pollution and conserve biodiversity

Principal Mr A.K. Sharma appreciated the students’ efforts and called upon them to take a pledge to conserve resources and reduce pollution.
