DAV CELEBRATES MAHATMA HANSRAJ JAYANTI

DAV Centenary Public School,Vaishali Nagar,Jaipur celebrated the birth anniversary of Mahatma Hansraj- the Great Indian Reformist and promoter of Arya Samaj and Vedic values on 20 April. Celebrations commenced with an enlightening speech, throwing light on the dedicated endeavours, progressive ideologies and views of Mahatma Hansraj Ji. The speech enlightened the students about the life of Mahatma Hansraj and inspired the students to inculcate the values of selfless service of mankind, truthfulness, loyalty and so on. A special assembly and special ‘hawan’ was organised followed by different class activities like card making, slogan writing, biography of Mahatma ji.

Students were in the attire of Mahatma Hansraj and presented significant events from his life time. Students were acquainted with the great legacy and the example he set for the following generations. His life and works were shared to kindle the fires of selfless service in the hearts of the young minds.
The Principal Mr. A. K. Sharma extended a heartfelt tribute to Mahatma Hansraj Ji, the ‘Father of DAV Movement’ and a great educationist who devoted his whole life serving the DAV institutions. He acquainted the students with the values given by Mahatma Hansraj Ji and advised everyone to follow the same.
