INTER-HOUSE HERITAGE QUIZ COMPETITION-RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, PADMAWATI

“A people without the knowledge of their past, origin and culture is like a tree with no roots.

With an aims to raise awareness among the students about the conservation and management of the country’s heritage and to  sensitize them to the rich cultural diversity of India , an Inter House quiz competition was conducted for the classes VI to X.

The four houses (hope, truth, faith, unity)participated with five participants each side. Points were awarded for a correct answer and bonus points were also awarded. The game had four rounds. The quiz started with the normal questionnaire round, next came up the visual round. This was followed by the audio round. The last round was  the rapid fire round which enthralled the audience. The results were still more exciting as it ended in a tie. This was followed by an extra question which changed the entire score. Overall it was an interesting event.In between different rounds there were few questions for audience to keep their interest alive and make them a part of the activity.In the closely contested rounds and after the mind boggling session  hope house was declared the winner. All the active competitors were loudly cheered and supported by their Co-House members.
