Credent TV: The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Programme under the National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM) was conducted at the Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur.

Why IPR Programme?

Our Nation is commemorating the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence on August 15, 2022, and on this monumental occasion, a campaign “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” is being run by the Government of India to celebrate our journey since independence. Under this campaign, Ms. Chhavi Garg, NIPAM Officer & Examiner of Patents & Designs, Electrical Group, IPO Delhi, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, gave a session on IPR Awareness programmes. She explains that these programmes are being run with a view to imparting IPR awareness to one million students as IP can be an effective tool in attaining the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.

Agenda of the Program

After completion of the session, certificates in the names of participants will be provided by DPIIT, Government of India. Agenda of the Program: Introduction of Intellectual Property Awareness – Patents, Designs, Trademarks, Copyright, SICLDR, and GI. The event was finally concluded with a vote of thanks by the Shrddha Arya, Director, Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women.
