Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the Telangana administration to cooperate in the interests of Telangana rather than obstruct the Center’s development projects in a covert criticism of the State Government for its lack of cooperation.

He warned the populace to be aware of the non-cooperation and stated that it was not in the best interests of Telanagana. He urged the citizens of Telangana to band together in order to prevent “family rule” from taking over the state, saying that all efforts should be directed in that direction.

With the recent political upheavals in the state, including the arrest of State BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay, who was arrested on allegations of paper leak of Class 10 exams, the enormous crowd at Parade grounds anticipated some severe criticism against the BRS administration and its leadership. A day before the PM’s visit to Telanagana, he was released on bail.

The prime minister continued his tirade against “family rule,” warning Telangana to be wary of those who adhered to it because it was the root of corruption. Family rule opposes any threat to the structures and institutions it desires to govern.

The majority of the speech was devoted to outlining the central government’s assistance to Telangana and how it reshaped the state’s geography by enhancing its rail and road networks.

Modi criticises the opposition.
Mr. Modi poked fun at the opposition parties in the nation for appealing to the Supreme Court to prohibit the abuse of government agencies against them, saying that the court’s denial of their case had demoralised the corrupt opposition parties. He asserted that they had united to target Modi because they didn’t care about the country.

The State government was asked to put politics aside and take an active role in the development of the State by Union Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav. Apart from the potential disruption to law and order, he said the state’s role in acquiring land for road and rail projects was crucial.

He claimed that Telanagana’s acquisition of the second Vande Bharat train demonstrated the government’s dedication to the region. According to him, before 2014, the combined Andhra Pradesh used to receive a share for railway projects of about Rs 800 crores, but under the Modi administration, it has increased to Rs 4,400 crores solely for Telangana. Notwithstanding the state government’s lack of cooperation, Federal Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy congratulated the Prime Minister for approving 13 new MMTS trains.

He asserted that the Secunderabad railway station’s proposed construction would meet international standards and be adequate to handle traffic for the ensuing 40 years. It should be able to accommodate 3.25 lakh travellers each day.
