The Kotak School of Sustainability is the result of a partnership between Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (KMBL) and the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT)
The establishment of the Kotak School of Sustainability by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (KMBL) is a major step towards tackling the urgent challenges of global warming and boosting sustainability education, research, and outreach. The partnership seeks to educate the next generation of sustainability advocates and offer leadership solutions for sustainability.
Opening Ceremonies
The main guest at the launch was none other than Union Minister of Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan. An important turning point in the effort to advance sustainability education in India was reached at the occasion.
The Union Minister underlined the value of industry and government cooperation in fostering research and innovation and thanked Kotak Mahindra Bank for its assistance in founding the School of Sustainability.
India’s First Integrated Sustainability School
Claimed to be the first fully integrated school in India devoted to sustainability education is the Kotak School of Sustainability. With funding from Kotak Mahindra Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, the school is well-positioned to have a significant impact on how sustainability activities are implemented in the nation going forward.

The main objective is to give students the information and abilities they need to handle challenging sustainability issues.
