Bank Holidays in October 2022: The festive season is going to start in October. This month is full of holidays. Navratri, Durga Puja, Gandhi Jayanti, Dussehra, Diwali, Chhath Puja and many other big important festivals are coming in October. Due to which banks will remain closed for most of the days in this month. As per the Reserve Bank of India holiday calendar, banks will remain closed for a total of 21 days in October. This includes the second and fourth Saturdays as well as Sundays off.

Talking about holidays or holidays in banks in October, banks will remain closed for 21 days in different zones across the country. Every state has a different bank holiday list. If you have to deal with some important work related to the bank this month, then definitely check the list of bank holidays. Otherwise you may have to face trouble.

Talking about the longest bank holidays in October, the eastern states of India will be in Tripura, Sikkim, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. According to the RBI holiday calendar, banks will remain closed for four consecutive days in these states. Many of these holidays are national. Banking services will remain closed across the country on that day.
