Spirituality and service towards mankind is in the roots of the country. People are God conscious here and since ages India is invariably imbibing the values and cultures holistically in the society.

Hare Krishna Movement Jaipur, works on the same principle of awakening God Consciousness in people. Srila Prabhupada, Founder acharya of wordwide Hare Krishna Movement said, “We are trying to give human society the opportunity for a life of happiness, good health, peace of mind and all good qualities through God Consciousness.”

Srila Prabhupada wanted to establish a big Krishna Balaram Mandir & Cultural Centre in Jaipur. In his letter dated July 13, 1975 to Sri Mavir Prasad Jaipuria ji, a very famous and prominent gentleman in Jaipur, he mentioned:

“So this Krishna Balaram Vrindavan temple is being visited by many devotees to the extent of 500-1000 per day. You are Jaipur, so you can help me in completing such an institution in Jaipur also. Jaipur is visited by many Vaisnavas as a holy place of pilgrimage. Especially Gaudiya Vaisnavas go there to see the duplicate Vrindavan Deities such as Govindaji, Radha Damodar ji, etc.
