Assembly elections for the 182-seat assembly of Gujarat are due at the end of the year. Earlier, all the political parties have started putting a lot of emphasis on campaigning in the state. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann faced opposition from BJP supporters at Chikhli in Navsari district here on Saturday. Both the leaders were going to address a public meeting. Then BJP supporters showed him black flags and raised Modi-Modi slogans.

AAP leaders Kejriwal and Mann were going to address the rally
BJP supporters showed black flags to AAP leaders by standing on the roadside between Khudvel and Golavad villages of Chikhali taluka when their convoy was passing. After this he raised slogans of Modi-Modi. The rally was scheduled to take place at the National Cricket Ground in Chikhali town, where both the leaders were to address the rally.

‘Those who show black flags will win hearts’
The AAP convener later, while addressing the rally, referred to the incident and said that he considers those showing black flags as his brothers. He expressed confidence that one day he would win their hearts and induct her into his party. Kejriwal further said, people can vote for the party of their choice, but AAP will ensure that their children get free and quality education and medical care.

‘Stay with BJP, but vote for AAP’
The AAP leader claimed that BJP members are also against the Gujarat government. He said he was told by several workers that they wanted to remove the party from power. He appealed to BJP workers to stay with their party but vote for AAP.
‘Nothing in my heart against those who raised slogans’
Kejriwal further said, as soon as he saw us, he started raising Modi-Modi slogans. I consider him my brother. I have nothing against him in my heart. Shout at whomever you want. Vote for the party you want. I will build a school for your children, take care of the sick member of your family. I believe that one day I will win your heart and include you in my party.

‘BJP’s double engine has become obsolete’
He also said that he is not against anyone. Will build schools for all, including those who vote for Congress and BJP. Kejriwal said, we will get the family members of those people who have shown us black flags to be treated. I am not against anyone. He also took a dig at the ‘double engine government of the BJP’ and asked why it was needed. One engine broke down and the other got old. We need a new engine, not a double engine government.
I am an engineer.. know how to make roads
Kejriwal further said, those who want to do politics or goondagardi, they can go to BJP. But if you need schools, hospitals and mohalla clinics for your kids then you can be a part of.
