Price and specifications of the Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC

The Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate models from Honor Porsche Design feature three rear camera modules

The Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate have been introduced in China by Honor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC from Qualcomm powers the latest flagship smartphones, which also include a 5,600mAh battery that supports 66W wireless charging. They have a 50-megapixel selfie camera and are powered by MagicOS 8.0. The unique design of the Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR was created in conjunction with Porsche Design. On the back, it features a hexagonal camera configuration, however the Magic 6 Ultimate sports a square-shaped camera island.

The Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR’s single 24GB RAM + 1TB storage option is priced at CNY 9,999, or around Rs. 1,15,200. Iceberry Pink and Agate Gray are the available colors.

In contrast, the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate costs CNY 6,999 (about Rs. 80,600) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model and CNY 7,699 (about Rs. 80,600) for the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage version. It is available in Sky Purple and Ink Black hues.

The dual SIM (Nano) Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate have a 6.80-inch full-HD+ (1,280×2,800 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz with 4,320Hz PWM dimming. They are powered by the MagicOS 8.0 interface, which is based on Android 14. Based on the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, both versions are powered. While the Magic 6 Ultimate boasts 16GB of onboard RAM along with 512GB and 1TB of storage options, the Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR offers 24GB of onboard memory and 1TB of RAM.

Three rear camera units—a 180-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) capability and a 100x digital zoom—are featured in the Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate. A 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/1.4 to f/2.0 variable aperture, OIS capability, and an ultra-wide-angle 50-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus are also included in the camera unit. Both versions feature a 3D depth sensor in addition to a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera on the front.

The Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR’s design is influenced by Porsche automobiles, as previously stated. On top of a glass back sits a circular hexagon-shaped camera module, and both sides are protected by Honor Jurh Glass. Although it has a somewhat different appearance with a square-shaped camera module, the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate likewise has a design inspired by the high-end automobile brand.

The Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate have the following connectivity options: Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, Galileo, NFC, OTG, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 5G, NFC, GPS/AGPS, Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C connector. There are several sensors on board, such as a proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and hall sensor.

They have stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound effects and in-display fingerprint sensors for authentication. The builds of both models are water and dust resistant, with an IP68 rating. The 5,600mAh battery found in the Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate may be charged with either 80W wired or 66W wireless technology.
