Vande Bharat train

The Vande Bharat train will run between Jaipur and Delhi beginning in March 2023. Additionally, it will link his path to Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Recently, BJP MP Ramcharan Bohra and Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav met in New Delhi. The minister promised Jaipur nearly 900 crores in funding.

In less than two hours, the train will arrive in Delhi from Jaipur. The creation of 50 new, state-of-the-art railway stations in India was recently announced by the railway ministry. This includes the Sanganer station in Jaipur, whose repair and coloration have also been given the railroad minister’s blessing.

The Vande Bharat train will travel from Jaipur to Delhi in 1.45 hours as opposed to the conventional train’s approximate 5-hour travel time. In addition to Delhi, the train will have connections in three significant Rajasthani cities: Jodhpur, Kota, and Udaipur.

Instead of taking 7.30 hours to travel from Jaipur to Udaipur, it will take 2.25 hours, and 3.35 hours to get from Jaipur to Kota.

This train’s fare is between 1196 and 3000 rupees.

Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai created and produced the semi-high-speed intercity electric multiple-unit train known as the Vande Bharat Express, often referred to as Train 18.

It is the Shatabdi Express train’s replacement and is India’s first entirely indigenous train. Modern amenities and features are installed on the train, which has been intended to go at up to 160 km/h.

There are 16 coaches overall on the train, including 2 executive class coaches and 14 chair cars. Each executive class coach has 52 seats and has amenities including LED lighting, onboard entertainment, and custom reading lights. With 78 seats each, the chair car coaches come with amenities including Wi-Fi, a GPS-based passenger information system, and rotating chairs that can be spun 180 degrees.

CCTV cameras, an emergency braking system, a fire and smoke detection and suppression system, and other safety elements have been built into the train’s design. Additionally, it boasts an onboard entertainment system that updates passengers on the train’s location, speed, and anticipated arrival time in real time.

In the event of a power outage, the train’s power car is outfitted with a battery backup system that can keep it running for up to three hours. The train also has a bio-vacuum toilet technology, which uses less water and promotes better hygiene.

The Vande Bharat Express travels between New Delhi and Varanasi and will soon reach further locations.
