Elon Musk congratulated ISRO on its successful launch: On Twitter, I wrote, “Congratulations, ISRO has launched two Singapore satellites into orbit.”

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C-55’s successful launch. Musk congratulated everyone in a tweet. At 2:19 pm on Saturday, ISRO successfully launched two Singaporean satellites with the PSLV-C55 rocket.

This was PSLV’s 57th flight.

The mission launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, placed TeLEOS-2 and LUMELITE-4 in low Earth orbit. This was the 228-tonne PSLV’s 57th flight. ISRO is widely regarded as a cost-effective and dependable option for satellite launches worldwide.

TeLEOS-2

It’s a communications satellite. It was created in collaboration with Singapore’s engineering students by the Singapore government. It can provide day-night and all-weather coverage. It has a weight of 741 kg. It provides disaster management information.

LUMELITE-4

It was created in collaboration with Singapore’s Infocomm Research Institute (I2R) and the National University of Singapore’s Satellite Technology and Research Centre (STAR). Its goal is to help the global shipping community. It weighs 16 kg.

The Experimental Module was also part of the mission.

The mission also carried the PSLV Orbital Experimental Module (POEM), in addition to the two customer satellites. The PSLV is actually a four-stage rocket. The ocean is where its three stages end up. After the satellite is placed in its orbit, the fourth stage, also known as PS4, or space junk, is left behind. For the test, ISRO created the fourth stage of the rocket, known as POEM.

Payloads have been added to the rocket’s fourth stage, which does not separate. Seven non-separable payloads from ISRO, Bellatrix, Dhruva Space, and the Indian Institute of Astrophysics were attached to the rocket’s fourth stage in this mission. POEM is powered by solar panels and has a Navigation Guidance and Control (NGC) system. This aids in the stabilisation process.

The launch of a starship was aborted.

ISRO launched its mission just days after Elon Musk’s company SpaceX’s Starship mission failed. On Thursday, four minutes after liftoff, the Starship exploded 30 kilometres above the Gulf of Mexico. It took off around 7 p.m. from Boca Chica, Texas. This was Starship’s first orbital test. It is the world’s largest and most powerful rocket. Despite the fact that this rocket’s flight was a huge success.
