The Career Path of Salil Parekh
Salil Parekh has a renowned career in the IT services sector that spans almost three decades. He is well-known for his leadership in successfully managing acquisitions and implementing business turnarounds. Ever since becoming leadership of Infosys on January 2, 2018, Parekh has established the strategic course for the organization, guiding one of the top IT behemoths in India through times of substantial transformation and worldwide obstacles.

His educational background includes a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Prior to joining Infosys, Parekh served on the group management board at Capgemini, where he made significant contributions to the business’s international operations.
