SEMINAR WITH PROF H.C. VERMA – AN ENLIGHTENING EXPERIENCE 

An enriching interactive session with renowned physicist and pioneer scientist Prof. HC Verma made it a dream come true for the students and scholars of science stream who visited the campus of St. Xavier’s School Nevta with much pride and aspiration in their heart to be the part of Science Symposium.

As many as 20 eminent schools from all across the city attended the enlightening seminar hosted by the school on 12^th & 13^th April, 2024 respectively for students and teachers.

The event commenced with the inaugural ritual of lighting the lamp carried out by the dignitaries including the school Principal, Fr. Sangeeth Raj S.J. It was followed by the welcome address presented by Fr S. Xavier, SJ, Principal St. Xavier’s College Jaipur.

The participants were engaged in an interactive session where they were allowed to pose questions directly to Professor HC Verma. The session covered topics ranging from fundamental principles to advanced concepts in modern physics. With the help of simple approach towards concepts and real-world examples, Professor HC Verma elucidated complex concepts, in a comprehensive manner. It was a great moment for all the participants when the appropriate strategies, logical reasoning and systematic analysis were shared with the students in a very simple and easy way.

The seminar concluded with closing remarks from Professor HC Verma, highlighting the value of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning in the pursuit of physics knowledge. Overall, the seminar successfully inspired students to develop a passion for science and underscored the importance of conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills in science education. Prof. Verma explained the catastrophic effects of dummy school culture on a student’s life and emphasized over the value of attending school regularly. He also quoted interesting examples from the success stories of great achievers.

  The culmination of the seminar was done through the presentation of vote of thanks made by Mr. Sandeep Sharma.
