Violence in 6 cities of 4 states on Ram Navami

Ram Navami was celebrated with reverence and enthusiasm across the country on Sunday. But, stone pelting took place on the procession in six cities of four states. Due to this the situation worsened so much that one person died in Jharkhand. 70 families became homeless in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh has ordered to run bulldozers at the homes of the rioters. Section 144 was imposed in Gujarat-Bengal too after the situation worsened.
Jharkhand: One killed in Lohardaga, stone pelting in Bokaro
An attempt has been made to spoil the atmosphere in Jharkhand’s Lohardaga and Bokaro on Sunday. The first incident took place in Hirahi village of Sadar police station area of Lohardaga. In this, stones were pelted on the procession of Ram Navami. Stones were also thrown on the Rajdhani Express going from Ranchi to Delhi. Internet service has been suspended in Lohardaga district. One person has died in the violence. Stones were thrown at Ganju Mohalla in Rajabeda of Phusro on the procession on Ram Navami in Bermo area of Bokaro. After that the commotion started. Administration officials reached the spot and controlled the situation.
Madhya Pradesh: 30 houses and shops were burnt in Khargone, CM made bulldozers run at the houses of rioters
Stones were pelted near Talab Chowk on Sunday evening on Shri Ram Shobhayatra in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. The miscreants set fire to more than 30 shops and houses. The matter calmed down a bit at around 9 pm, but violence flared up again at 12 pm. Houses were set ablaze in Anand Nagar, Sanjay Nagar, Motipura. Some houses were also looted. Due to this, more than 70 families had to leave their homes and move to other places.
In this incident 10 policemen and more than 20 people were injured. SP Siddharth Chaudhary has been shot in the left leg. At the same time, the police have detained 70 miscreants till Monday morning. Police-administration has also issued helpline numbers. Here, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said – rioters have been marked. He will also recover damages to public or private property from those who threw stones, caused damage to property. After the order of the CM, the administration has started the work of demolishing the houses of the rioters in Mohan Talkies area in Khargone.

Bengal: Policemen also injured in violent clash in Howrah
Violent clashes have also taken place in the procession of Ram Navami in Shivpur area of Howrah, Bengal. BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari has said that many people including police constables and officers have been injured in the attack. Shubhendu Adhikari said whether Sanatan Dharma has been banned in the state? On this incident, Howrah Police said- We are making efforts to maintain peace and order in the area under Shivpur police station. We appeal to all to maintain restraint and do not share any kind of provocative things on social media.
