To understand the functioning of our brain and its nitty-gritty, Credent TV has invited expert Sajid Ahamed to the show ” Shiksha Sarokar” hosted by Sunil Narnaulia, Chief Editor, Credent TV.

Sajid Ahamed is an NLP trainer, high-performance coach, and EQ consultant. He is an International Training Academy (ITA) approved NLP trainer for classic code NLP, new code NLP, Master Practitioner, and ICF accredited PCC Level Coach. He runs an organization named, “Inner Peace Life Coaching Pvt. LTD.” in India.

How our mindset impacts our performances?

It plays the main role. Every result or performance that we give is related to behaviour that is caused by our “state” of being. We act differently when we are happy, anxious, or sad. Your state of mind is based on your conditioning based on your experiences, thoughts, and learning since childhood. Results are according to behaviour, which is according to the state of mind. Hence, it is said that powerful minds create powerful results. 

How to change your belief system?

The secret or mantra is in your hand. Whenever you want you can change your belief system by changing your thinking pattern. The problem is we allow others to control our State. Our body is a meaning making machine. The meaning that others’ behaviours decide our state of mind. Look towards positive possibilities and it will change your belief system.

What role does stress or pressure play in becoming successful?

It is necessary. Just like stress on muscles is necessary during the workout to build muscles, performance doesn’t evolve without stress. But balance is necessary because people get collapsed due to stress. Stress is never an issue but our response to it creates the problem. If stress is your friend and it is taking you ahead in life it can create miracles. Train and tune your response to stress in the right direction and it will lead you to success.

Can you brief us on the NLP Technique?

Of course, NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Our mind is a system and NLP is the reprogramming of this system. We intake information through our 5 sense organs which is processed in our minds and subsequently the outcome is created, in terms of thought and our behaviours. If you want to change any undesired behaviour, the permanent change can only be possible, if you can change the processing of information gathered from 5 senses. It is basically the Rewiring of the brain. 

People have long-term phobias which are cured through a 15-20 mins process of NLP. The New Code NLP is the upgraded version of the Classic Code NLP. New Code NLP is works on the unconscious mind whereas the Classic Code NLP is more focussed on the conscious mind and conscious behaviour

Anyone who wants to change his life can and should learn NLP. It’s always a matter of choice whether you want to continue regretting your past experiences or do something about it.

Experiences, based on which our today’s behaviour is decided should be erased if it’s bad and that’s what NLP does. 

Mental health issues like anxiety, PTSDs, Depressive thoughts etc can be addressed through NLP as well.

How to increase your brain power?

There are principles which, if followed will push you in a positive direction in life mentally and physically. They are 

  1. Oxygen – Oxygen content of the body is very important for the functioning of the body. Do more breathing exercises.
  2. Water – 10% decrement in hydration of the brain can lead to up to a 50% decrease in its efficiency and performance. As a thumb rule, a person should take 0.03 litres per kg of his weight.
  3. Sleep – Maintain a proper sleep schedule. Mind and body are repaired and rejuvenation during a deep sleep.
  4. Balanced Diet
  5. Exercise – 20-30 minutes of exercise is a must for a healthy mind every day. A simple cross lateral movement like cross crawl exercises can trigger both right and left sides of brain.

How NLP is better than other techniques?

Other methods work on behaviours that are generally influenced by your immediate environment and may bring about temporary Changes. NLP does not focus on behaviour rather it focuses on what creates behaviour which is the state. Hence the Changes are permanent and long lasting. Changes are brought about in the initial inputs itself. When the inputs change, the output undoubtedly changes. Most NLP Practitioners works create miracles and do not follow the law of averages.

Concluding the discussion, it’s clear that we create our reality with our mindset. So, change your thinking pattern. The choice is always yours. Follow a more positive perspective towards life. Our mind manifests what we think. Rather than saying, “I don’t want to be sad” say, “I want to be happy,” and see how your life changes and you become happier than ever.
